Good country ambiance at this steak restaurant located in Uvalde. Most of the time they provide good service unless they are short handed or busy. Their lunch spaghetti with meat sauce it's delicious and reasonable.
My husband and I are regulars. The staff are always very nice and attentive; restaurant/restroom cleanliness and not to mention the food ALWAYS tastes great! They NEVER disappoint us! My favorite is the Jack's Steakhouse Burger with cheese and bacon and loaded sweet baked potato. It's the BEST burger in town! My husband always usually gets the Jack's Pepper Cheese Steak with loaded baked potato and really likes it! Our kids love their Ribeye and the School of Shrimp. We also enjoy the kind of music they play. We even got to listen to one of the songs my husband has dedicated and sang to me, (Everything I Do) I DO It for You by Bryan Adams. Overall, it's a good dining experience!
Ask for Crissy for the best service, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. try their strawberry margarita it's amazing
Food is plentiful even when ordering the Chico Plates. Love their warm bread & cinnamon spread! Food is hot and served fairly quick. Friendly staff. Waitress checked with my group several times to make sure that everything was okay and that we needed nothing more. Prices are a little high but so is every other place. Would highly recommend. My group eats there several times during the year and for the most part are pleased with food and service. Don't use a credit card as the wait staff must pay the card fee out of their pocket. I pay with cash and leave cash tip.
Great steak and excellent service. Had a great time with friends celebrating a birthday. Will be back.
